I’m About Finished

In the last few days it has become clear that I am about finished with writing and speaking about this sort of stuff. I have realized that there is really nothing more that I have to say, or that  I wish to say. That feels right. It is now clear that anything that I might say is not only incorrect, but redundant at this point. It’s not about what can be said but what need not be spoken. Anyway, I have done this for myself, not to convince anyone else.

This blog started a few years ago when I began the final leg of this journey to nowhere. At the time I was spending a lot of time in silence, hours every day. That was useful in developing mental discipline, and for writing haiku. Then the content began to change to more writing and less poetry. During the progression I found that I had less and less to write about. My knowledge was diminishing as I forged beyond the falsehoods that had produced this character Brant. Now I feel as if there is really very little left of him. A bit is left for family, especially Scott & Danny. Also a bit of what I need to get by in the world of humanity.

This is not to infer antisocial tendencies, but simply that I find that I have so little in common with people these days. The connection has just faded away, bit by bit. However, I have enjoyed writing and speaking both with this blog and the “Truth Talk” sessions. Thanks to all of the friends who willingly traveled with me as well as those who we passed on the road. Remember to keep going.

“Anything you experience based on knowledge is an illusion. There is no such thing as truth. The only thing that is actually there is your ‘logically’ ascertained premise, which you call truth. I am always emphasizing that somehow the truth has to dawn upon you that there is nothing to understand. When you know nothing, you say a lot. When you know something, there is nothing to say.” – U.G. Krishnamurti

I don’t know if there will be any further posts, but I plan to leave the site up for a while just in case, and out of respect to my readers.
